We are excited to have this innovative center ready to serve you with its attractive design and well-organized display of information for all of your requests. With expanded photo and graphic presentations we are able to share the joy and energy of music and the beliefs that inspire us. Your officers are committed to realizing the TPSMEA mission – to provide for the needs of private school music educators and students. Our new website definitely promotes our goal of making available the best resources possible to enhance the music education and achievement of our students. TPSMEA invites you to thoroughly browse our features that honor our history, celebrate the present, and challenge us in an ever progressing future.
Members should specifically review the 2013 – 2014 Handbook for updates to particular competition procedures and organizational policies. For more information about the various activities and events that TPSMEA sponsors please use the email addresses on our Contacts page. Each division officer welcomes your questions and all members of the State Board are here to help.
We are very proud to announce the creation of the TPSMEA Distinguished Administrators Award; the first recipient will be presented during our 22nd All-State Weekend in 2014. There are many exceptional Texas administrators that are committed to excellence in music education within their schools. Please assist TPSMEA in recognizing these individuals for their outstanding service, dedication, and overall contribution to music. Information on the award and the nomination process is found in the TPSMEA Services area of the website.
One of the greatest gifts of TPSMEA is the opportunity to share ideas and form life-long friendships with others who share your passion for music education. I am so proud to be a member of this organization and honored serve as its President. Please contact me at any time if I can be of assistance. May this new academic year revitalize you, your students and your school. I wish you every success along the way.
